Dear Friends,
     Thank you so much for visiting the First Baptist of Santa Maria website.  We invite you to take a few minutes to acquaint yourselves with our ministry.
     In January 2007 our family moved to Santa Maria to serve this community,  First Baptist Church, and Valley Christian Academy.  I never thought we would see the Lord work as He has.  There is such a spirit of excitement every time we get together.  We have seen many accept Christ as their personal Savior, and many others have had their hearts revived to a closer walk with God.  Great things are happening at First Baptist!  All I can say is come and see for yourself!
     People from all over the Central Coast (Santa Maria, Lompoc, Nipomo, Arroyo Grande, San Luis Obispo, Orcutt, Guadalupe, Los Alamos, and Vandenburg Air Force Base) have found a home here, with Bible teaching and preaching that is practical, youth and children's ministries that are exciting, adult programs that are a blessing, and an inspiring emphasis on outreach and missions.  They have found a great place for their families.
